One side of its elliptical orbit being 50000km closer to the earth than usual, the full-moon today is brightest and biggest. It looked 15% bigger and 30% brighter as compared to other full moons.
Technically the moon became full, three hours after reaching the perigee, at around 8pm. He is closest to the earth when i photographed him at about 3,56,630km from the Earth, compared to the average distance of 3,84,800 km 🙂
If only you had a habit of reading those ‘chandamama’ monthly story books 😉
